Meet Our Eye Care Specialist
Dr. Uddoh is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with a scope of practice that includes cataract & glaucoma surgery, diabetic eye disease, laser vision correction, eye trauma, anterior segment disease and comprehensive eye examination including contact lens & glasses.
Dr. Uddoh obtained her BS. in Pharmacy from Temple University Pharmacy School where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude and became the first African-American student to be inducted into the renowned Rho Chi Honor Society. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After serving an internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Uddoh was trained at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC in medical and surgical ophthalmology.
Dr. Uddoh co-authored a scientific published paper and some unpublished clinical and epidemiologic research work while in medical school.
Dr. Uddoh is actively involved in the community, where she has chaired some community affairs and was the recipient of “Excellence in the Community” award. The award was in recognition for outstanding service and achievements in ophthalmology, medicine, surgery and community service from the Philadelphia Chapter of Alabama State University National Alumni Association, Inc.
Dr. Uddoh is a member and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an active staff member at Abington Memorial Hospital. She is affiliated with Wills Eye Institute. She operates at Wills Eye Surgery Center in Warminster, Pa. and at Abington Surgery Center in Willow Grove.
